  • 2 lbs beef country ribs
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
    - Pat dry the beef ribs with paper towels.
    - Rub the ribs with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Step 2: Sear the Ribs
    - Warm some olive oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat.
    - Sear the ribs on all sides until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  • Step 3: Assemble in the Crock Pot
    - Place the sliced onions and minced garlic in the crock pot.
    - Arrange the seared ribs on top.
    - Pour the beef broth over the ribs and add Worcestershire sauce and thyme.

Notes

  • To add a deeper flavor, use bone-in ribs instead of boneless ones.
