  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups colorful jelly candies, e.g., gummy bears or fruit slices, chopped

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Baking Pan
    - Line a baking pan (8x8 inch) with parchment paper, allowing some to overhang for easy lifting later.
    - Lightly coat the parchment paper with butter to prevent sticking.
  • Step 2: Melt the Nougat Base
    - Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
    - Gradually add the mini marshmallows, stirring constantly until they are fully melted.
    - Reduce the heat to low and stir in the white chocolate chips until smooth.
    - Add the vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.
  • Step 3: Incorporate the Jelly Candies
    - Remove the nougat mixture from the heat.
    - Gently fold in the chopped jelly candies, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
  • Step 4: Pour and Set
    - Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan, ensuring an even spread.
    - Allow the nougat to cool at room temperature for 2–3 hours or until firm.
    - Once set, lift the nougat from the pan using the parchment paper and cut it into bite-sized squares.
