  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound 450g boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • Dissolve 1 teaspoon of cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water (optional, for thickening).
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: sesame seeds, green onions

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
-Thinly slice the chicken breast and set aside.
-Shred the cabbage, julienne the carrot, and mince the garlic.
  • Step 2: Cook the Chicken
-Warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
-Add the chicken slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and fully cooked (about 5–7 minutes). Remove the chicken and set aside.

-Faites chauffer le reste d'huile d'olive dans la même poêle.
-Add the garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant (30 seconds).
-Toss in the cabbage and carrot, stir-frying for 3–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Step 4: Combine and Serve
-Return the cooked chicken to the skillet.
-Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well to coat the ingredients.
-For a thicker sauce, add the cornstarch slurry and simmer for 1 minute.
-Servez chaud, décoré de graines de sésame ou de ciboules selon vos préférences.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute green cabbage with Napa cabbage for a milder flavor.
  • Adjust the seasoning and sauce quantities to suit your taste preferences.
  • For a low-carb version, reduce the sauce and skip the cornstarch.
